Issues in life sometimes cause us to have to sell good investments.  But when you do have extra money, people often don't go back and start investing.  They think well I better not in case something happens and I have to sell again.  Which is not the best mindset to have for investing.

I have lost money in investing and I have had to sell some investments to pay for unforeseen large expenses.  But I have always, as soon as I could, start getting back into investment.  And when I invest now, it is all long term.   And let my money work for me instead of me just working for money.
