How can it give bad effect and reputation just because they try to sell it publicly? Mind to elaborate it in more details like what are the bad effects and what kind of reputation they may get from selling the site publicly while they did not do something bad since they launched the site months ago?

In general whenever a business changes owners its never a good thing. People will start to wonder how will the new owners treat their Bitcoins? Will they one day just run-off with them?

Remember what happened with Poloniex when they got bought by the parent company of Goldman Sachs? Around that time they froze withdraws for every account that wasn't verified, which was probably 99% of all their clients. It was a headache getting your money back even if you followed the verification procedure because it took months and crypto took a huge dive in that time.
