It may not be as actively developed as other top cryptocurrencies on the market, but it's one of the good-old cryptocurrencies that has stood the test of time. It's impressive to see blazing-fast and cheap transactions within the DOGE blockchain after a long time since its inception. I believe that Dogecoin has been able to retain these characteristics because it's not heavily used like other cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin or Ethereum. The inexpensiveness of DOGE is sure to attract a lot of people into it. It's no wonder why Vitalik has shown some love to the cryptocurrency.
