Research shows that cryptocurrency is used by 0.5% to max 1% world population, which in numbers gives us a maximum number of 75 million people. Given the world’s population of 7.5 billion people, that 1% is just like a joke and shows us that a very small number of people are directly involved with crypto.

On the other hand, I think that at least 50-70% of people heard about Bitcoin, especially in times of big bull run in 2017, but most don't even understand the basics and considers it an internet scam that will end sooner or later.

Another very important fact is that 45% of the world's population does not have internet access, and they probably never even heard of Bitcoin, and even if they are, they have no ability to use it.
