On which platform was it? I did the same kind of mistake last month, but it was for a poker online game, it wasn't a huge amount but I lost all the balance I had on the platform. Shit happens... 
It's on Windice. If you are thinking OP misplaced the bet because of the site, you are wrong. Shit happens, and it can be happen anywhere I wonder what will you say if all your bets with the mistake were winning bets?
