I initialized the wallet restoration via the seed phrase at 2:40 AM and of all the files in the location "com.liberty.jaxx" only "blob_storage" (at 2:40 AM) and "Cookies" and "Cookies journal" (both at 2:44 AM), and "log", "preferences" and "quotamanager-journal" (all thee at 2:40 AM) were recently changed. So it appears only these files can possibly contain the private keys, or am I missing something?
How else could a wallet restore and update the correct balance without accessing the private keys?
Locations such as "IndexedDB", "databases", "cache", "GPUcache" and "local storage" have not been changed since hours ago so how can they contain vital info for a wallet?
I assumed the IndexedDB folder was the wallet files because I created a wallet, saved the receiving address of that wallet and made a copy of that folder. Then I deleted everything, created a new wallet and noticed the address had changed (confirming is a different wallet). Then I copy-pasted the IndexedDB folder of my first wallet and it showed the same address from that wallet.
In the meantime, try sending them a support ticket:
https://support.decentral.ca/hc/en-us/requests/newA different address does not per se mean a different wallet, does it? Wallets always have several different addresses, right?
Btw what I mentioned in the text you quoted of me was not completely correct. Also the other folders which were still timestamped as having updated hours ago, did in fact contain some files that did have a timestamp of updating after 2:40 AM. So it confused me that the folder itself had a different (earlier) last update time than some files in it, but it is very well still possible that the private keys are stored into the IndexedDB folder, although I'm still not sure of it. Also very weird that stuff like this is not even easy to find on the internet. I would have thought you would easily be able to find general info such as in which folder private keys are stored.
What I'm gonna do now is let somebody look at it who knows more about PC's and crypto than me, and if that does not help then I will indeed submit a ticket there.
