I have posted this many times in the past. Cryptocurrency is very different from other forms of investment such as real estate and stocks and therefore the past price movements can't be used to predict the future exchange rates. To predict the future price movement of altcoins, first you need to study why they lost their value recently. One of the main reason was the destruction of the ICO market. Another reason was the revelation that many of the projects were scams. The delay in the development work was another reason that had a negative impact on the exchange rates. So in order for the altcoins to make a comeback, all these issues must be resolved. And unfortunately, I am not seeing any signs of that. So my prediction is that while the altcoins may witness a few temporary spikes every now and then, in the long term they will continue to go down.
