I only know in the movie. If you already watch God of Gambler, you will see a spiritual has been used in the card game. But I think that will happen too in reality as we don't know who was used and who was not used. But if someone has used voodoo or spells, and he can win so much money, I guess the owner will suspicious, and they will check on that person. They don't want to see they are losing much money from that person, and they will make sure that the person is not using voodoo.
