I use bitcoin as an investment place only and I forget it to pay something that I want. Actually, I don't like to buy something through online shop and anything related to it. I'm scared if I buy a stuff and when it comes to my hand it is different and far from my expectation. I believe bitcoin will be use by most its user as an investment place. They will buy something with use money fiat that common to use and there is no someone who will forbid it.
Using bitcoin as an investment is the best thing that we can do than to use bitcoin to buy something on the internet or in real life. While there is not many online stores or offline store which accept bitcoin, we can use save the bitcoin and convert it into cash. I don't like to use bitcoin to buy something or buying from a store online. I feel not comfortable, and besides that, I cannot touch the product I want to buy. Sometimes the product will not be the same as what they offer, and that is the other reason why I don't want to buy by the online shop.
This is 21st century and Amazon is the biggest place to shop your things and the things has changed from you mentioned.Yes there maybe fake products can be sold but you can see the previous user's reviees before you purchase any product.
Amazon still accepts bitcoin but you can convert bitcoin into cash and use it to buy things from Amazon.
They don't directly accept bitcoin, due to their reasons, but in the wake of that, a company specifically made to fulfill the needs of people who want to spend BTC on the site, purse.io. They actually work pretty well with fairly low spreads and amazing integration with Amazon, it's just a simple browser extension.
Back in 2017, I remember spending my bitcoin for my family, buying foods that we need special needs that needed of a son because of his condition (private matters) and also we travel once because of bitcoin, but of course, I converted it to fiat before spending it. I enjoy purchasing with bitcoin is to buy a load, that's what I often to buy with my bitcoin because very convenient to use and easy to transfer load.
Me, too. The last year I tried spending bitcoin on service is only on 2017 to show support on the tech and for the whole crypto space. But now, I don't even bother because things did not go well in terms of financial because of the long bear period. Even in the twitter cryptoverse, those influencers that travel to spend only crypto shared that they only met 4-5 persons that actually spend bitcoin.
