Because they are all part of the "Total Information Awareness" project and are designed to hoover up every personal detail about everyone to feed into AI so they can learn how to control and manipulate us more effectively.
Good point - maybe a reason to sign up is just to feed these algos enough false data that they get the wrong impression
Seems they're all a part of PRISM or some other program. It's somewhat ironic that the US govt pretends to give a shit about people's privacy on Facebook while simultaneously stealing everything they can.
