Historic shot for the 76ers basketball, it's three years in the making after all. It will up there with Dr. J's iconic dunks and reverse lay ups or AI's crossovers (and step over Ty Lue).
I don't think that this should be considered as a historic feat in 76'ers basketball history. Not even in the top 10 in my opinion. Those two you mentioned is really iconic because it was done in the spurs on the moment.
But it could be a consider as Simmons personal achievement but not something that could be consider as historic. The Daryl Dawkins dunk that shattered the back board (pre-Shaq era) was one of the best.
