Yes, i think now is the right time to buy altcoins as the market favors bitcoin. If you look at the altcoins market there is almost zero momentum. Altcoins are dirt cheap right now so if you are planning to invest in altcoin i believe now is the right time.
I support your opinion that so far the prices are very cheap for coins, they need to be bought and kept for the long term, as in the future they are likely to grow well
