if you just use for social media you don't need to use twitter audit.
You must do the twitter audit if you join the twitter bounty because usually they put the rules like below

Rules:Minimum Followers: You must have a minimum of 250 real followers.
Twitter Audit: Your accounts score on https://www.twitteraudit.com/ must be at least 90 %.

Relevant for the number of followers is your lowest follower count during any time of the Bounty Program.
