Do you not understand how damaging it is for your community when the main dev takes away a person's stake because he doesn't like what they say?
It's more likely big part of community didn't like what being said. I suppose it's about tone much more than about facts. As result u can see big amount of "+1" behind OP's decision.
So in my estimation what's happening: community approving soft ban (in other words, they're waiting of form of apologizing) of someone, they disliked tone of words completely.
Why I'm saying "they" instead of "us"? Well, I'm going to stay neutral on this one so far. It's nothing, but emotional-based conflict.
He should not have been removed from the stake without at least first asking him about it.
