BTC2 price 2.50 USD and according to what i've seen especially the community effort plus the great focus of the dev team, it will climb to 10usd before the end of this year or maybe this 1st quarter of 2020, Good time to buy now. 
Maybe you are talking about the recovery of this coin but that time altcoins were into very high demand when it touched $10 level. At the moment the whole scenario is totally changed and the original BTC is in very high demand but everything is possible in this ecosystem.
