I'll also admit, I didn't do the math while saying 40k tickets are enough to win a prize in every 4-5 rounds. Like I said, don't get stuck in the numbers. Read my first sentence again. If you didn't like the math, increase the numbers till it is right.
You'll see there are accounts which win the lottery (again, by winning I mean any prize) almost every round. Do the math according to their ticket numbers and you'll be fine.

The odds are stacked against you when you have less than 500 tickets, but it is definitely not impossible. I have been participating in this lottery since it started and I had 100 000+ tickets in the lottery with no luck.
Just troll the lottery winners history and you will see several players that won the Lottery with much less tickets than 500.
Be careful not to create a expectation with people that they would have a better chance of winning, if they have 500+ tickets, because the odds are still very much against them with that amount of tickets.
