I don't know why did you say so that the popularity of the bitcoin is losing right now, maybe because of the huge dump of bitcoin and that was the reason you say that.
I also wonder because in my point of view it was getting more popular as time goes by. I don't think the decrease on btc's price is the reason why OP make such statement, I think the countries which ban bitcoin or any form of crypto. Okay! Let's assume that a certain country refuse to adopt btc, for me it remains popular because they knew about it in the first place they are aware of such thing. Am I right? 
Less adoption doesn't necessarily mean less popularity.
