I don't think so. Even the more mathematically-inclined can't always correctly predict outcomes with effort, why do you think lighting a few candles would work?
The practice and the believe of voodoo to work or make ones to win in gambling is just an act of lazy gamblers which believe gambling is a quick to rich scheme where in the end gamblers winning level are determine by strategy and luck.
I think voodoo gambling is the highest level of gambling superstition, far above people who believe in "lucky numbers". Might as well spend all the time praying learning probability and the money spent on charms/shamans used to buy/commission software.
