Likely because of the server being moved to CA. If you are east coast based it would only cause more latency issues, as it did for me. I see on average 20-30% loss, which is insane. I want to mine here but having to worry about constant spikes in loss is not worth it. I havent seen a single pool with that much loss, ever, not matter what coin is being mined.
