Where will Gigajoule floating stations be located?

Gigajoule team has spent years preparing for the introduction of the first three floating power plants in Nigeria.

Why Nigeria?

The choice of Nigeria as the first location for the installation of floating power plants was due to a number of reasons:

* the abundance of natural gas in the country;
* existing national transmission system;
* support from the World Bank to guarantee the government's commitment to pay for the purchase of electricity produced by floating power plants under the electricity purchase Agreement.

The first three projects will be implemented in 3 different regions of Nigeria: Cross river state, Anambra state and Delta state. In the future, we are planning to implement more projects for Nigeria and other African countries, as well as for the Middle East, South-East Asia and Central America, as the demand for electricity generation in these places will remain unsatisfied for decades.
