So far this year.. the market share of the altcoins have went down by more than half. One year back, the altcoins used to enjoy more than 50% market share... but now the same share have dipped below the 1/4th mark. Among the top altcoins, every single one have lost their value against BTC during the same duration. And the trends indicate that in the future also the same condition will continue.
We need to get rid off shitcoins first in order to consolidate the altcoin market so that it will be easier in focusing on the potential altcoins and I believe it will take one more year or so for any recovery when it comes to altcoin market if the situation does not improve or else it needs a massive bull run again. Once the top ten altcoin starts gaining the value that's the moment we are heading towards green zone.
