The problem I have with 512 diff is that my internet connection is not stable enough for my 280MH when using my pc and 420MH when away
I need about 2 minutes to work on a 512 diff, but if my internet is not stable I loose those shares in the ashes.

When using vardiff its OK because I did not loose that much high rate shares. So the variance for me is not balanced with the time, but its going down with the time. I got random disconnects and will lose high value shares.
I cant fix my internet connection as the whole family is using the Internet, and also the ISP provider is kinda sucky.
Go into your router at home and look for qos settings. Try prioritizing port 3333 (tcp). At least your upload will get there. Download u dont control.
