First off, thank you theymos for doing this supporting artists is a rare and positive gesture and lots of influential people never get around to it.
I've been producing Crypto art for almost two years and am currently working on a piece of digital art specifically for this art contest. But before that, let me present a piece I made last year, that already has Bitcointalk rooted at its core!
Cryptoglyphs, 2018, Acrylics on Canvas, 145x190cm (57˝x75˝)I want to keep this post short so I'll give it a TLDR summary of its content, followed by the link to its official Bitcointalk thread, where it is presented in detail.
Cryptoglyphs took me around 6 weeks to finish. It visualizes the internal structure of Bitcoin/Blockchain with miners, adresses, the merkle tree, hashing and block structure - it's all there!
But most importantly the Bitcoin origins in four Egyptian gods - patrons of miners, law, writing, mathematics and wisdom representing Satoshi Nakamoto and early supporters and developers of Bitcoin. They made all this possible and Bitcointalk is the place this was orchestrated! Here's the entire thing explained in detail:

I'll be back with my next piece as soon as it's finished.
