I tried running x5 R9 280x's on Windows 7 64bit system and I couldn't get the 5th card going. If you want to run 5 or 6 cards you need to go Ubuntu or Linux
I just started a second rig with the 5th card.

Try to find a solution for windows, saw on youtube rigs with 5 cards and windows 8.
I am running windows 8 and have 7 290x on one rig running perfectly
Nice rig. And whats the point to make the 5.card run?
After adding the 5. card to the rig the monitor hasn`t a signal anymore
Maurizio have you tried running your rig without a monitor?
I run my rigs without monitors, I use teamviewer to control the rigs from my home pc.
Not yet. But I will try it after a short or little longer powernap.
