So let's say it I set 3 different stackcoin pools at the top and one other non stackcoin working pool on such as wafflepool. Will it work Wafflepool until one of the other 3 pools sends work and then switch to it? Or will it just stay with Wafflepool?
That's exactly what my miner is doing. It's mining waffle, clever, middle, and pot, while the first 3 stack pools are still "offline". Of course, they're not sending any work, because the coin doesn't have a wallet or daemon yet.
When I get home, it's supposed to be mining stack, according to my own pool list (as you can see above.) Or whenever Stack launches and the pools start sending work.
So I'm set to be mining Stack within the first few minutes.
Awesome! Wells here to the best for both of us! I set the conf file with 3 stackcoin pools at the top and a flappcoin pool that i've been mining on at the bottom. Set the batch file -c and away it goes. All pools listed in cgminer, failover set, currently mining flappy and hopefully when the successful launch happens, it'll be mining stack within the first few minutes just like you.
