Other than the Joker, I'm yet to watch the other movies on the list. I'm curios about The Irishman.
Is the audience impact a factor greatly considered on picking the winner receiving the Oscar's or thr jury only based on the structure of the movie itself?
It's been a while since I last watch the Oscars but I can say that it's not a popularity contest. Some winners in the past were not exactly the favorite among movie "reviewers".
I hope this year's nominees will be able to match up with last year's winner Green Book and contenders Bohemian Rhapsody & A Star Is Born. Those were really good movies.
