So MintDice is looking to launch a sportsbook Q1-Q2 of 2020, and the provider we are most seriously looking at right now offers a suite of gaming instruments. Most are non-provably fair games that we are not interested in since we are only going to use custom built games for our provably fair systems.

However, Poker is nearly impossible to build and therefore make Provably Fair. We could adopt the platform that our sportsbook provider has for virtually free. The question is more whether or not that is a good idea, which is high debatable, but certainly possible.

Our largest focus for skill gaming will be on the new innovative games that we are bringing to the market. They will all be Provably Fair and use other sources of fairness/randomness when possible since we are constructing them entirely in house.

With Poker, I'd say the biggest consideration with us will be player base. The more people we have playing on MintDice, potentially the more likely we would be to add in the poker client as well at some point after the sportsbook is released with that licensor. But realistically, we'll just have to wait and see, and either way, poker won't be coming for some time if it ever does so don't hold your breath Smiley

Wow,,, now this would be huge news for me and for most of us in this forum. The way I see it, anyone who gambles on dice, probably gambled on sports first, at least when I see the status of my fellow friends in real life. Most of us bet on sports long before we ever tried casino games, long before BTC dice.

So that is a wise move since there is a lot of demand, and not enough competition in my opinion.

Hard to see provably fair for sportsbook so if you manage that, it would be awesome.

A "provably fair" sportsbook is not a thing, that doesn't exist and can't exist.

The provably fair conversation only related to the games the operator offers, of which we'd only consider their poker client if we picked something at all.

We'll obviously try to make our sportsbook competitive. There's a few things that we have plans for but at the end of the day in this industry there are so many things that you can ultimately do relative to competitors.

well said , will definitely keep an eye on the progress
very interested in good crypto no KYC/no gimmicks sportsbook , really hope yours deliver
and yes , check what the competitors offer and do and try to do it better ( or not worse at the very least )
try to automate your withdrawals , I know it is easier and safer to do it manually , but it deters many gamblers from the site
I know for sure that if I'm given the choice between two sites I'd pick the one with auto withdrawals ten times out of ten
