There are still many countries that are fairly fair in voting, in my country the voting is done in realtime with witnesses from both parties and if there is cheat, surely only certain individuals are carried out in some areas.
No country is devoid of corruption. The voting system exists to please something called "democratic demand" from public - its makes the common people think that their opinions matter and so they feel happy. It is actually a false hope because everything going on in politics is not to be known completely by common people. But if you feel your county voting is fair enough then you should go for betting on the side you feel is going to win.Quote
