I think they expect that whatever nonsense they come up with, it will be magically successful without marketing. And when they do marketing it's cringy AF too - remember stickers on race cars and the Off Road Heat game that's now dead like, well, everything they've done over the years.
This, a million times over. Every single thing this team have ever done thats been designed for mass consumption outside of their little crypto niche has flopped, even when theyve supposedly spent loads of money on promoting it (see: stickers on race cars). Obviously the problem isnt just the marketing (or lack of). Its that the ideas themselves arent great.
