According to this list, the Nfactor is increasing tomorrow.  If these dates are accurate, I suggest adding them to the OP as they are now buried back on page 94.

What do you mean? Is the memory required from the GPU or the Mobo? Will a lot of ppl with the R 200's models all hash significantly less.

It is required from the video cards (GPU). It's beacause of that that §CPU mining will be more profitable as nfactor grows because you can push up to 32 gb of memory per cpu in a standard mobo nowadays.
However from what devs affirmed GPU mining will stay more proftibale than CPU mining in an absolute point of view.
