It's a 3x event. People will sell some to get trx for playing more.
Remember that the incentive is not token price. It's the jackpot and other prices. So I wouldn't bother about token prices at all. As I have said many times that  people will sell when divs are high. When divs are low , when token prices are high and when token prices are low. In the other words, people always sell.
At the moment I suspect it's more for getting spare trx to play again. Overall it's fine as the aim of this competition  is to increase players / volume and divs and not to just raise token prices.
