POP Masternodes solve one of the biggest problems facing p2p file sharing…maintaining nodes on the network so content is always available. Think of it this way… If you are being paid by the blockchain as a Masternode to host content then what is the likelihood that you will take your node offline?
 
As a consumer of torrent/streaming networks, this means you are more likely to see files with high seed/leech ratio. No more stranded torrents!
