Buying newly registered coins isn't risky? because they don't know the value yet and it's hard to predict, I myself have avoided trading newly registered coins because I have lost a lot of money there and I prefer the old coins to be long and short term

I often do that but not for the long term. only for daily trading and not save more than 2 days. some projects that have strict regulations for bounty distribution usually have better and stronger markets. because most new coins that do not have a strong market when the bounty distribution is made will decline.
