It boggles my mind as to why so many fine users here care about these petty side squabbles while they are IMO completely overshadowed by this whole IRS situation..
Maybe I am the only one who thinks the IRS situation is a big deal but I think it is a very big deal..
I don't know if this is aimed at me in any way, I'm not a "fine user" so maybe not LOL but I do comment on a petty squabble here and there.
Here's my take on this. I pay my taxes. Those who don't pay are assholes because guess what - they're not reimbursing me personally for the shit they use like potholed roads and shitty schools and wars in hot sandy places. I have little sympathy for them. They're welcome to move somewhere with no taxes or vote Rand Paul for president, democracy FTW.
Also I have some doubts about breaking down doors for tax audit - been there, done that, the 1920s vintage door is still there. In fact the auditor never showed up at my house, I had to haul my ass to their office. I know, not a proof that a raid can't happen but I find it hard to believe that it's such a major issue for a routine tax audit as you're making it sound.
Having said that, I'm not going to report anyone, except assholes who directly try to rope me into their money laundering schemes (also been there). Just like I wouldn't report a suspiciously looking person with a hoodie walking down the street. And even if Vod feels strongly about this and reported to IRS or whatever, I think it would be much better to let the authorities do the job instead of constantly poking Og with it.
Og on the other hand is a filthy liar, quite ironic given the title of this thread. Not laughing at his hypocrisy is just too damn hard, sorry.
