However the nba page says 8.5+ points which might give an impression of -8.5 spread but it is actually +8.5 when i contacted the support

Should be read as Clippers to win with more than 8.5 points. It only makes sense because Clippers is the favorite.
That's what i thought in the beginning. Clippers to win with more than 8.5 points represents a -8.5 spread for Clippers but the support agent denies again and again and says it's +8.5 spread for Clippers
