Looking at the current market trends it seems altcoin season might happen somewhere in mid-2020. I think the market is still recovering from the correction phase. First, we will see a BTC bull run followed by an alt bull run.
everything can be the other way. we can see first the growth of altcoins and only then the bull market of bitcoins and therefore the portfolio of each smart investor consists of bitcoin and altcoins
Right we should try to promote altcoin as well because we o is where there growth of bitcoin is important so the same way growth of Altcoin is. I have some bitcoin, ETH and ripple in my portfolio so for me all of them are ray of hope. I wanted to see all crypto market making progress and for this invest more but never panic my investment.
You don't really need to panic with such good portfolio, even on the bearish market. Your assets are definitely a good choice for a long-term. The real risk is a portfolio consisting of various low-cap altcoins with low liquidity and volumes. You can't be sure that anything of it will go up in value in future. So it's better to not invest more than 1-2% of your portfolio in such high-risk assets.
