Personally , I lost nearly 1500$ from day trading. I do buy back theory now to recover the loss and invest on potential ico's. now i am going on a slowly steady way , if we get greedy then we end up with nothing.

investing in potential ico can make you lose more money because it become hard to know which coin really has potential
in my opinion, investing in bitcoin or other popular altcoin is the best option right now
for bitcoin the potential of price increase is high because of incoming halving and every time the price of bitcoin rise the next is the altcoin season.
if he has the ability to do research then it would not hurt them to invest in new projects because they have the potential for greater losses if they don't have the ability to see the potential for the future. investing in popular bitcoin and altcoin is better but it requires skills too.
