There will be no news for coins growing above 50%. If it does, you won't be able to catch up because people who know the secret have bought it all before. It is all based on Technical Analysis. I have heard that many people use trendline and fibonacci retracement to find a suitable buying point and a strong pump time for a coin.
The best way I have found to determine when a coin is going to pump(at least usually a little) with technical analysis is to use Bollinger Bands. You want to find a coin that is basically flat in price movement for a somewhat long period of time. The Bollinger Bands should be almost touching each other do to the price not moving for a while. This a lot of times signals a breakout. However, it is not always reliable and most of the 50%+ a day pumps are groups pumping up a coin and there's no way to predict that unless you are an insider in that group.
