@OP: You're totally wrong in the Jeff Bezos story. Do you know that his wife has been with him even when he was a nobody? So whatever she got I would say she truly deserves it because she worked for it, and inspired her husband I guess. It's all about luck, there are people who end up in the wrong marriage and their life ends up getting ruined and they losing everything they have, and there are also those that get the right partners and things work out for them. So don't say that people shouldn't get married because they want to be rich, it might be that partner that might assist you and make things work out for you.
