Second, you probably don't want to trade with such a small amount. Withdrawal fees, dust amounts, etc will eat a large part of it.
I agree, even tho I don't think that amount qualifies as dust. It's actually more than you'd think in some countries and might be enough to buy a couple of days' worth of food.
Exchange fees would probably eat away at that amount, and that's why I wouldn't bother using $9 worth of bch to trade with. You would have to be extremely lucky to grow $9 into even $18 by active trading. You'd be better off just holding it in a wallet and hoping there's a massive bull run in bitcoin cash, and there probably won't be.
Another option would be to use an exchange with a low fee to convert it to bitcoin, but you'd probably have a hard time withdrawing it, since most exchanges have withdrawal fees of *at least* 0.002
BTC. In the end, there's not much you can do with only that amount of an altcoin except hold it, which is exactly what I would recommend doing.
