Chill out bro, I have known about it. I see those badges, but I think they are a bit different from art contest badges.
Bitcoin expert, Bitcoin-Qt core developer, and the Glider deserve to be permanent (no doubt, surely). But I am not really sure about art contest badges if we consider the impact of their contributions on our forum. IMHO
Of course they are permanent, even a high school kid could tell you that in a flash.
People are reacting to your loaded question because it sounds a bit malicious in intent, why would you even question whether the art badges are permanent or not, when the contributions made by the art contestants are, like all works of art, immortal and will be enjoyed and appraised at least as long as this galaxy is functioning, and probably far longer
