I do doubt still that this is the right time to do so. The market vlue still is blurry to make an uprise right now and even at the end of this year,in which majority of the investors are anticipating of. As long as consistency cannot be seen in the market value of cryptos, we should not be hasty with our decisions on making investments to random cryptos in the market. Let's be patient for now.
There are different people with different goals. For some $100 is something to wipe your ass with, for others it's their monthly salary.
It has albays been true, that the riskiest investments bring the highest profit.
Since crypto is in a steep decline, one would say that it is the best time to buy when everybody sell or even quit.
However, it is also the time for most exitscams, self robbing exchanges, dead projects and so on.
So the risk grows exponentially with the lowering of the price. But this risk is also the risk of getting high profit.

In this market one of the most popular strategies when the market is going down is to buy the dip and while this can be incredibly risky with many altcoins the risk is a lot smaller if you decide to invest in bitcoin.
It is true that if you invest now and the bear market happens then you could be losing money for months or even years but for a long term investor that is not really a problem especially when we know that bitcoin has an incredibly high chance of surpassing its previous all time high.
