Unfortunately you are right. The entire cryptocurrency market is stick to Bitcoin price. However, I think that some altcoins are no longer in danger because they are already at the very bottom.
I am hoping for an exception - If the Bitcoin price actually continues to fall, I hope that Ethereum fork will succeed and this will cause the ETH price to break away from the BTC price and start to rise.
