Bounties aren't profitable now rather it has become worthless, waste of time and physical labor. But still you can earn a small amount of BTC from some signature campaign. Trading is more worthless now for the old investors as maximum investors are under huge losses in altcoins investment. If market becomes stable, trading will be more standard way to earn BTC and altcoins from trade.
But signature campaigns are very difficult to join because participants are limited and have to compete with other participants to get slots. Only a few bounties that i think are still worth it to follow and must be more thorough before joining other campaigns
