Yeah I am happy. I'm living a pretty good life and can't ask for much more. Today I took a walk down one of the roads into the mountains for some exercise. A bunch of local kids were out because it was Saturday. They all waved at me and then burst out laughing when I smiled and waved back. These people have almost nothing and live a much harder life than you could ever fathom -- yet they are incredibly thankful for everything, and its a refreshing reminder of what really matters in life, which is being happy.

When I got back I took a nice dip in the pool. Afterward ate some fried chicken prepared by my girlfriend, who is a great cook. Then I got a lot of work done. It was a nice day out, not too hot, and the view from the house I'm staying in is truly breathtaking. All in all, a very satisfying day.
