Bitcoin is always seen on top.
But only one use case- Form of currency that can be used to transact or have a better value in future.
Because biggest community and the first, so always a king. I respect that.
Then I also saw other alts with better use cases, like BitBall BTB. Young coin but very active and a lot of use cases.
Current Utility:
1. Cryptocurrencies (BTC, BTB, ETH, BTRS) & Fiat (Paypal) based E-Barter trading platform
2. Bitball (BTB) as base pair on different exchanges
3. Main currency of Bitball-barter.com
4. Main currency of upcoming Bitball Dex
5. Various Merchant acceptance planned.
All the current circulation was airdrop with no ICO or sales at the start so still cheap.
Now with all these use cases and more planned,

It looks like this thread is kind of promotion of BTB, but i will answer your question.
BTB is one of the hundreds of coins that take part in the race. Bitcoin was the first, so it has the advantage. If BTB wants to participate in this race, it must prepare for a very long and hard fight. I'm not saying it's a weak coin. However, how far in this race will get, depends from the developers and I wish them luck, because it will not be easy.
And to be honest I will not bet on BTB in this race
