Correct, just like OP the panic sellers will cause the Bitcoin price dragging down too much. The more panic sellers have the more whales will laugh that there are people that make them easy money and they can accumulate when bitcoin too much down. Don't expect that the market is always showing green because the reason is bitcoin is very volatile and either it will raise and sometimes down. Don't invest your entire savings only invest what you can afford and willing to wait for long term investment.
