The more new coins that are present in the crypto market, will certainly enliven the crypto world. My question is how do you look at the future of the altcoin, with fairly tight competition. Will it affect the price of old altcoins, such as Ethereum, XRP and others.
One thing I've learnt about the cryptocurrency industry is that the more a project is able to stand the test of time, the higher the value. This analogy is simply derived from the assumption that people tend to invest more in projects that is trusted. And one way by which trust in this space can be depicted is by the durability of the project. One of the reasons why bitcoin controls a large chunk of the coin market is because it has stood the test of time.
What am saying in essence is that the future altcoin is not necessarily a threat to the existence of a solid project like ethereum, xrp and others.
