I don't see what he wrote above as a giant wall of text, though it was certainly a long post.  I have no real problem with that, either.  At least he puts a lot of effort into what he's writing, and I actually respect that quite a bit.  Nor is he a shitposter, and I base that on previous posts of his I've read.

Agreed, though I don't know JJG that well.  But compared to TOAA, everyone else might as well be Satoshi.

As far as this thread goes, every month I look at the rankings of the top merit-givers and I keep slipping downward despite trying to spread as many merits around as I can.  I guess that's a disappointment for me personally, but I'm really glad there are merit sources who are giving away such large amounts of merit.  The whole system would fail if that wasn't the case, so it's a good thing to see.
