It isn't clear to me whether, or until when, first-stage investors can pull out for a full refund. Has this been clarified by the dev (for any case other than the project completely failing to launch)?

It's still my money, yes. But we've all made a commitment to dev to invest in this coin, and if we don't follow through with that then are we not scammers?
Dev and I each need to fulfil our side of the contract. I've committed to invest X bitcoins in this coin; and the dev has committed to build a coin that does what he said it will do, and gives me a pre-agreed share of the coin. Use of escrow means that neither party has to send coins and/or spend months writing code with trust in the other party - instead we trust the escrow provider to handle the funds.
Can dev and/or Anon136 confirm whether use of escrow gives me some get-out option, even if dev delivers 100% on his promise?
